The Sanford Museum depicts the history of the community and the life and times of its founder, General Henry Sanford, a diplomat, lawyer and citrus producer. It also serves as a repository for Sanford’s papers and the city’s history, and displays a collection of 19th-century decorative arts. It is located across the street from Fort Melon Park.
